T-Mobile wants to buy you an iPhone 17 — if you’re willing to break up with your current carrier

T-Mobile is offering up to $830 off the iPhone 17 series via 24 monthly bill credits. Since the standard iPhone 17 starts at $799, this covers the entire cost of the device plus a little wiggle room for taxes or a storage upgrade.

To qualify for this promotion, you must bring your phone number over from a competitor and sign up for a premium plan like Go5G Plus or the newer Experience More. These plans aren't cheap, but they do include serious perks like Netflix and Apple TV+. You're not contracted to stick around for 24 months, but if you do try to leave T-Mobile before the 24 months are up, you’ll owe the remaining balance of the phone immediately.
