The new Arc Raiders update stops your game crashing during every other raid
A few weeks ago, a relatively large Arc Raiders update added a new Arc enemy, new inventory management tools, and a new map modifier to the game to tide players over until the next map arrives. However, the patch has caused the game to crash regularly for a lot of players, sometimes in the middle of a raid. While it's usually easy enough to jump back into an active round, crashing is still pretty annoying.
Arc Raiders patch 1.24.0 is available for download on all platforms now. Alongside a bunch of bug fixes, the Nascosto Set and the Scrappy Speckled Set can now be purchased from the shop if you're looking for a new look in the multiplayer game.
However, it is the fixes to the crashing issues that are the highlight. The patch notes read: "Addressed several issues that could cause crashes." No details have been given about what exactly has changed or why the game was crashing in the first place, but I didn't have any issues at all in the few raids I completed this morning. Hopefully, that means it is fixed for good.

Most of the other fixes are small, but there are two other changes of note. First, the update has "fixed an issue that could cause players and Arc to sound quieter than intended when there's no line of sight on Stella Montis." Also, layers who contributed to the Weather Monitor Station Project but couldn't complete it in time will now be able to get rewards in their inbox in the next few days.
Arc Raiders normally gets new updates every Tuesday, but Embark has said that there is "no planned patch [next week] in preparation for the Riven Tides update coming at the end of April." Therefore, expect the next round of changes to arrive in two weeks time.
