Fortnite Crew subscribes won't get 1,000 free V-Bucks from next season onwards
Fortnite Crew subscribes won't get 1,000 free V-Bucks from next season onwards
Following the announcement in March that V-Buck prices will be going up in Fortnite, Epic has confirmed that you'll only get 800 V-Bucks from Fortnite Crew subscriptions from next season. Since its introduction, the monthly Fortnite Crew pack has included 1,000 V-Bucks, but that is being reduced to be brought in line with the basic currency rates now in affect in the game.

This reduction was confirmed in March, but the exact timing hadn't been revealed. Epic's March statement on the Fortnite V-Bucks changes read: "The V-Bucks grant in Fortnite Crew will change from 1,000 to 800 V-Bucks. Fortnite Crew subscribers will receive an email with the timing and other details of this update in their region."
The in-game Store changes were made on March 19, and you can check out the new prices here. As of Tuesday, April 7, emails have started to go out, confirming that the changes will come into effect from Saturday June 6, 2026, at the start of Chapter 7 Season 3.
Unfortunately, since Crew is a monthly subscription, you can't stack up on the better value deal or fill your account with cheaper V-Bucks. The subscription is remaining at $11.99/£9.99 per month, with the currency reduction making up for the lack of a price increase.
The 800 V-Bucks is still enough to purchase the battle pass for the new season. Also, you'll still be able to earn 800 bucks from the battle pass for Chapter 7 Season 3, allowing you to use the Crew pack's bucks to get new Fortnite skins.
You'll notice the change for the first time with the first Fortnite Crew pack after Season 3 begins on June 6, 2026.
