Ghostwire Tokyo is one of my favorite Bethesda-published games, and now, it's cheaper than ever

I'm a sucker for great atmosphere, and Ghostwire: Tokyo is a brilliant example of how to nail it. Set in modern-day Tokyo, but crowded with creatures from Japanese folklore, the darkness of the night allows every step through the typically busy streets to feel tense and uneasy. It's an action-adventure title injected with some of the best horror game elements, making it accessible for those who don't like franchises like Silent Hill or Resident Evil - and that's exactly why you should give it a try, now that it's cheaper than ever.

In Ghostwire: Tokyo, you play as Akito, who, following an accident, falls unconscious - allowing for a spirit to possess him in his most vulnerable moment. As a mysterious fog rolls in, anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in it turns into a spirit, and with a mysterious man in a Hannya mask broadcasting and unleashing a spell that releases evil entities, it's up to Akito and his new spirit buddy to save the world.

With a possessed right hand and a spirit in the driver's seat, you're able to unleash powerful magic that functions similarly to guns in FPS experiences. Three types of spells embody Fire, Water, and Wind: the Green Wind spells allow you to rapidly fire at those pesky Visitors, while Fire functions as a long-ranged sniper-style projectile (or as a big bomb, if you charge it). Finally, Water fittingly creates a wave, which is perfect for crowd control, and requires less SP (effectively the ammunition) than Fire, making it an excellent option.

While the narrative may be a bit repetitive, Nic's Ghostwire: Tokyo review echoes my thoughts, the game garnering a 7/10 and concluding that "exploring and fighting your way through Tango's eerie, detailed rendition of Shibuya is where Ghostwire: Tokyo shines." It's a severely underrated gem, and one you shouldn't pass on when it's on a deep discount.

Oh, look - it is! With the Fanatical Prestige Collection for March 2026, you can score Ghostwire: Tokyo (and another game of your choice) for just $7.50 / £7.50 each - but if you decide to grab more from the bundle, you'll be able to save even more money on each title, with four or more games going for $7 / £7 per title. That's a bargain, and there's no shortage of excellent games that you can pick up here, including:

  • Ghostwire: Tokyo
  • Fallout 76
  • Wreckfest
  • Lost in Random: The Eternal Die Complete
  • Cowboy Life Simulator
  • Diplomacy Is Not An Option
  • Deck of Haunts
  • Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Deluxe Edition
  • Astrometica
  • Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew
  • Cabernet
  • Worshippers of Cthulhu
  • Heretic + Hexen
  • Metal Eden
  • Seeds of Calamity
  • Our Adventurer Guild
  • Caravan SandWitch
  • Hell of Fear: Mind Breach
  • Cross Blitz
  • Gigasword
  • Blood Rush
  • Victory Heat Rally
  • Saloon Simulator
  • Bittersweet Birthday
  • Revolution Editions - Shadow & Steel

Personally, I'd go with Ghostwire: Tokyo and Diplomacy Is Not An Option, or perhaps Metal Eden if you're feeling the FPS vibes. However, there's an incredible selection here, so in reality, you're not missing out.
