Fortnite OG earthquakes are destroying Titled Towers ahead of Season 8's launch time

The latest season of Fortnite OG begins on April 1, bringing Chapter 1 Season 8 to the game. Over the course of the current season, earthquakes have been happening across the map, with cracks appearing on the surface in various places. Now, however, just hours before the map changes, the earthquakes have been knocking down the buildings in Titled Towers.

While the cracks are easy to find, having already decimated other parts of the battle royale game's map, the effects are only now reaching the more populated areas of the Fortnite landscape.

When the tremors happen where the buildings are in Tilted Towers, they're completely destroyed, leaving nothing more than a big pile of colorful loot where the building used to be. The first person to notice this was Fortnite News on X, and you can see their video of what exactly happens below.

This will all be happening as the game ramps up for Fortnite OG Season 8, which goes live around 10am BST, 5am ET, 2am PT on April 1. This is no April Fools joke, there's simply a great new map to explore in the nostalgia-filled Fortnite mode.

A lot of changes will be happening for Season 8, so the earthquakes are getting ready to destroy the whole thing in preparation for the changes. Everything will be completely different the next time you log in.
