2. The Amber Room

Often called the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’, the Amber Room was an opulent masterpiece constructed in 18th-century Russia. Its walls, adorned with glowing amber panels, gold leaf, and intricate mirrors, mesmerized all who saw it. During World War II, Nazi forces looted the chamber and transported it to Königsberg. After the war, it vanished without a trace. The fate of the Amber Room remains one of history’s most tantalizing mysteries, giving rise to endless theories and quests.
