Your latest Fallout 3 remaster leak comes from an unlikely source: an online toy store

Whether it's Todd Howard's many coy remarks in recent months, or the steady flow of speculation from insiders and leakers, remasters of classic Fallout games seem inevitable. While Fallout 76's ever-evolving world has benefited greatly from the buzz around the TV show, the absence of a brand-new Fallout game has been pointed out by, well, pretty much every one. Reviving some of its post-apocalyptic RPGs would be one way in which Bethesda could capitalize, and with The Elder Scrolls Oblivion's remaster being a huge success last year, there's proof that it'd be a worthwhile exercise. New Vegas and Fallout 3 are the names being thrown about the most when it comes to remasters, and now evidence for the latter has been discovered in listings for an online toy retailer, of all places.

MacFarlane Toys is an online store for geeky gifts, including a lot of figurines based on everything from Mortal Kombat, to Batman, to Warhammer 40k. You'll even find some Fallout collectibles on there, with figurines of an NPR ranger from New Vegas, Lucy and the Ghoul from the TV show, and more. However, an eagle-eyed fan has discovered a figurine relating to a Fallout 3 remaster in a new batch of upcoming MacFarlane product listings.

There's a bit of a paper trail here, so bear with me. Reddit user 'FredOnToast' appears to have spotted this first after perusing an article from ToyNewsI, a site that regularly covers new product reveals and collates listings for retailers such as MacFarlane. In the site's March 9 breakdown of new listings on Bro Depot, a service that lets you pre-order MacFarlane items, it includes the following description: "Elite Edition 7in - Fallout 3 Remastered - #13 T-45B Nuka Cola."

Fallout 3: An incomplete listing on the Bro Depot website for a Fallout 3 Remastered figurine

The Bro Depot page for this product is actually live on its website, although it looks rather incomplete - there's very little in the way of product description, and the image of a rather blurry bottle of Nuka Cola is definitely a placeholder. The price currently shows as $51.37 / £38.06, which is the kind of ballpark MacFarlane's figurines go for. It also displays a postage date of August 31, 2026, which is when it should be shipped to anyone that pre-orders - however, Bro Depot itself disclaims that the release date "is for reference purposes only and is subject to change at brand's discretion."

Let's also dig into that name a little. T-45b appears to be referencing a spec of the iconic T-45 power armor, perhaps with a Nuka Cola-inspired paint job? From what I can both remember from playing the game myself, and from some digging on the web, I don't believe there was a Nuka Cola-branded armor set in Fallout 3 - however, we have seen T-51 power armor with the corporation's colors and logo in Fallout 4's Nuka World DLC and in Fallout 76.

This is by no means a smoking gun that a Fallout 3 remaster is happening, or that it'll be out in the wild around August when this model could supposedly ship. However, it's yet another piece of evidence to throw on the ever-mounting pile.
