In one of the more original gaming PC collaborations in recent memory, MSI is teaming up with Disney and Pixar to release a full Toy Story PC build, including a Buzz Lightyear graphics card, Woody motherboard, and Zurg power supply.

This MSI system won't be challenging high-spec builds for the best gaming PC crown, but it earns major points for its design alone, which is sure to appeal to any Toy Story fan.

Great attention to detail has been paid to its design, which pays homage to the first two films in the series. I particularly love the case design, which takes the form of an arcade grabber, which is synonymous with the Little Green Men from the film. There is also a small plaque on the front of the case, which looks as though it will have a unique serial number engraved upon it.

It's also great to see each component stay true to the color palette of the character its design is based on. For example, there's the white, green, and purple of Buzz Lightyear incorporated into the graphics card and its cabling.

Having all these colors based on distinct character designs runs the risk of the whole PC looking a mess once fully assembled. However, based on the images we've seen so far, the final product manages to maintain a look that feels fun rather than fussy.

The full MSI Toy Story gaming PC specs are as follows:

MSI Toy Story PC Specs

GPU Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Gaming Trio Toy Story Edition
Memory Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 32GB 6,400MT/s
Storage Spatium M450 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 1TB
Motherboard MSI Z890 Gaming Plus Toy Story Edition
Power Supply 850W MSI MAG AB50GL PCIE5 Toy Story Edition
Fans 3x 120mm ARGB fans on the side
1x 120mm ARGB fan on the rear
Dimensions 420 x 225 x 485 (mm)

The only downside to this build is that it's only available in Taiwan, for now. The total cost of the build is NT$ 79,900, which is just under $2,700 based on current conversion rates.

While MSI hasn't revealed any plans to release this internationally, you may be able to find a retailer that ships internationally, or risk a drop shipping delivery if you want it outside of Taiwan.

Despite how great the system looks, it's an odd time to release it. A new Toy Story film is on the horizon, but it's not due out until 2026. We can also find no reasoning as to why it would be a Taiwan exclusive either, beyond MSI being a Taiwanese company. However, a fun fact we unearthed in researching this connection is that Toy Story 3 was almost set in Taiwan, where, in the story, Buzz Lightyear had been sent for repair by his original manufacturer.
