I'm a Harry Styles Superfan, and These Are the Home Decor Pieces I'd Use to Re-Create His Iconic Eras

For the past 15 years, just about as long as Harry Styles has been in the public eye, I've been a fan. From a young One Direction listener to now an adult "Harrie" (the unofficial name for Harry diehards), I've seen it all. His style has changed dramatically since his boy band days, but one thing has always remained true: Harry curates a distinct aesthetic, no matter what he creates. Each era has a signature look defined by hallmarks, colors, and fan-driven symbols that reflect the chapters of his life.

With his new album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, fresh off the presses, we thought it would be fun to see which home decor pieces from the Better Homes & Gardens collection at Walmart could bring his albums to life. Keep reading to hear what this Harry expert would pick for a Styles-inspired home.

We don't have much to go off of yet for the star's newest album, but from what we do know, it's already in sync with our collection.

Frosted Globe Glass Ceiling Light in Nickel

As the album's name implies, we're ready to disco, and you can bring that same energy into your home with this ceiling light. The light's whimsical, spherical shape and mounting style are the same as those of a disco ball, and the nickel finish evokes the sparkly, mirrored exterior.

Steele Swivel Leather Accent Chair

There wasn't much released pre-album, but we did get a 6-minute music video for the lead single, "Aperture," and that's more than enough for this expert to draw ideas from.

The moody feel and vintage style in the video align with the new look fans are anticipating for this album. But I also spotted chairs in Styles' hotel room that look very similar to the Steele Swivel Leather Accent Chair. Harry, are you hinting at a BHG collab part two?

Harry's House

This might be the Harry's House era, but to me, it will forever be his BHG era because of the internet-breaking cover story he did with us. It's also my favorite album, but I might be a little biased. The Grammy-winning album's aesthetic is defined by light neutrals and symbols of home.

Juliet Open Arch Bookcase

If you've been anywhere in the Harryverse the past five years, this shape might look familiar to you. Pre-Harry's House release, the star dropped Easter eggs on a website called You Are Home. Each day leading up to the album's release, the site featured a different image behind an arched doorway. The same doorway then appeared on the album cover. This is an easy match for this stunning Juliet Arch Bookcase. The bookcase matches the door's shape, and the honey finish complements the album's soft, light color palette.

Plus, if I had to assign a piece of furniture to represent the album, I'd pick a bookshelf—it's a place to display memories, stories, and other things that remind you of that feeling of home, just like the music on the album.

Clear Flared Red Wine Glass with Stem (4-Pack)

I would be remiss if I didn't include something that relates to my favorite song on Harry's House, "Grapejuice," which, on the surface, is about wine. But not all wines are beloved by the singer, according to this track—the cleverly named tune calls out ditching white and pink wines in exchange for something deeper, "Give me somethin' old and red," Harry sang. So, red wine glasses it is.

Do these chairs look familiar? You might recognize them from our June 2022 story about Harry, which featured a similar set. We love the timeless, versatile shape that works with many different styles (pun intended). Not only did we spot these in the feature, but they're also reminiscent of the neutral tones present on the album's cover.

Fine Line

Harry's second album, Fine Line, kicked off his two-year-long world tour, Love on Tour. This tour was the first major time fans really took the album's aesthetics and symbols and translated them to themselves, whether they took things literally (like symbols of Watermelon from "Watermelon Sugar") or figuratively (like their own take on the maximalist style used by the photographer Tim Walker in the album art).

It's no secret that Harry likes to reference fruit in his music—watermelon, kiwi, and grapes to name a few. The fifth track on Fine Line is called "Cherry," and despite never using the name in the song's lyrics, it quickly became one of the era's many symbols. This Love Cherry candle references the fruit and the song's subject, love (even if it is about a breakup).

Juliet Queen Boucle Platform Bed

In the album's third single, "Falling," Harry sings about regret, guilt, and sadness. In it, he sang "I'm in my bed, and you're not here." Luckily, we have more than a few beds from our collection, and we'd like to think that Styles was talking about the Juliet Boucle Platform Bed.

In Harry's debut self-titled album, his music matured from pop boy band to solo, edgy rockstar. The new sound and imagery are the blueprint for how the artist and fans create themes and aesthetics for each era. In other words, this album walked so the others could run.

When flipping through our BHG Walmart catalog, this was the first idea to come to mind. In Harry's self-titled album, he has a song called "From the Dining Table." When I listen to the song, I think of him singing it from a literal dining table. In fact, I think of a large, dark wood table, just like the Greyson Dining Table when it's fully extended.
