Harry Styles might be one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, but even with the world at his fingertips, Styles still turns to a familiar grocery store standby when he’s looking for a comforting and convenient dinner option.

The One Direction alum, who is gearing up to release his latest studio album on March 6, recently appeared on an episode of internet personality Brittany Broski’s "Royal Court" YouTube series. Midway through the interview, Styles shared a surprising revelation in response to a question about his favorite fast foods.

Harry’s ‘Boy Dinner’

“I really like burgers,” Styles responded in the interview. “I think I just like eating with my hands. That’s the truth.”

Broski then jokingly referred to Styles as a “caveman,” to which the “As It Was” singer agreed: “I love, like, a turkey leg. You know that idea of … ‘girl dinner’? Boy dinner, I’ve discovered, is just eating a rotisserie chicken over the sink.”

Let’s Hear It for the Chicken

It’s hard to argue with Styles’ pick for his favorite dinner. Rotisserie chicken is affordable, delicious, and versatile, so it’s little wonder that the chickens are consistently among the most in-demand items sold at stores like Costco. And when you eat it directly over the sink like Styles apparently does, you even save yourself the inconvenience of having to do the dishes afterward.

All jokes aside, we love a rotisserie chicken around here. The average bird should yield you about 3 cups of white and dark meat, which can go a long way toward feeding a family when it’s put to work in a chicken salad, a hearty soup, a comforting pasta dish, or even a winter-friendly chicken casserole.

Our Favorite Recipe

If Styles is looking for more fuel for his album release and upcoming tour—which kicks off in Europe in May and makes its way to the United States in August—we’d suggest he give our million-dollar chicken casserole a look.

The dish comes together easily with just 15 minutes of prep time: mix your cheese base, stir in your chopped-up rotisserie chicken and sliced green onions, top with crushed crackers and melted butter, and bake until warm. Though, come to think of it, with all that dairy, maybe this is a dish that works best as a post-concert cooldown.
