Resident Evil Requiem release times - when is it coming out?

What are the Resident Evil Requiem release times? With Capcom's highly anticipated follow-up to Village just around the corner, all I want to know is this: when can I play it?

I've had my eyes firmly trained on the horror game's latest instalment for months now, crafting my own fan theories about Grace's storyline and Leon's return to the fray; hoping and praying that our Raccoon City adventures pave the way for a dominant new era of Resi. With the Resident Evil Requiem launch just around the corner, it's time to get excited.

The Resident Evil Requiem release date is just a few days out, and we'll finally be stepping back into the bloodstained shoes of Leon Kennedy. Voiced by Nick Apostolides, who picked up the role following Matt Mercer's departure and puts on quite the show in the Resi 4 remake, he takes a more aggressive approach to the horrors of Raccoon City, juxtaposed with Grace's tentative, stealth-driven gameplay.

The dual protagonist element has certainly been a little overdone in recent years (Assassin's Creed Shadows comes to mind), but in many ways it - and Resident Evil Requiem as a whole - feels like the perfect throwback. Resident Evil 2's diverging campaigns with Leon and Claire remain some of the best to date so while, yes, I too approached with a little bit of trepidation, I'm excited to see how Capcom has reinvented dual narratives. The Resident Evil Requiem release times for PC are Thursday, February 26 at 9pm PST, then Friday, February 27 at midnight (12am) EST / 5am GMT / 6AM CEST. You can check out the full list for each region below:

Note that the console release times are midnight in all regions, with the exception of US Pacific, which mirrors PC at 9pm PST. So if you were hoping to jump into the game a little earlier by messing around with your timezones, PST is the one to go for.

Resident Evil Requiem pre-load

If you've pre-ordered Resident Evil Requiem, you'll be able to pre-load the game now. Capcom does caveat that "you may also need to download additional update data after launch," but it doesn't hurt to get ahead of things.
