Lenox’s New Spice Village Jars Celebrate Regional Flavors Like Cajun, Chili Powder, and Lavender

Since the 2024 return of its beloved Spice Village collection, Lenox has been busy adding all sorts of new pieces to expand its offerings. Recently, the company added 12 jars to the Spice Village collection, highlighting popular flavors that were previously missing.

Customers were asking for jars to fill with their favorite region-specific spices, like chili powder from the Santa Fe area or a salmon seasoning for West Coasters. Lenox listened and created four collections to celebrate these unique blends. Each new Spice Village set includes three houses that will fit right in with your other spice jars—here's the lineup.

West Coast Spice Jar Set

The West Coast Spice Jars include a house for Lavender, Salmon Seasoning Blend, and Sea Salt. Lavender is a West Coast staple for coffee syrups, homemade teas, and pastries; its Spice Village house has a light purple roof. The salmon seasoning house boasts a red-tiled roof and windows with matching trim. Flaky sea salt is a must for finishing your favorite savory dishes and desserts, and the house is decorated with a hand-painted awning and flower planters.

Santa Fe Spice Jar Set

Lenox created a Santa Fe Spice Jar Set with three signature spices: Chili Powder, Cumin, and Mexican Spice Blend. Tiny vines sprouting bright red chili peppers decorate the Chili Powder jar—a quick and convenient way to add spice to your favorite dishes. The same goes for Cumin, which is housed in a jar with a soft-pink roof and a tiny chimney. Mexican Spice Blend typically features ingredients such as cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic, and oregano; its house has a large green roof with red flowers.

French Quarter Spice Jar Set

In the French Quarter, Cajun Seasoning, Curry Powder, and Creole Spice reign supreme. These colorful spice jars are just right for housing these favorite spices.

The smoky, spicy Cajun blend fits right in with Lenox’s yellow-roofed house and its large, hand-painted windows. Creole Spice has a light-blue house with tiny blue-flowering vines, and Curry Powder receives the largest house, with a sky-blue roof and paned glass windows surrounding its bright red front door.

Italian Market Spice Jar Set

The Italian Market set includes classics like Old Bay, Everything Bagel, and (of course) Italian Seasoning. These Spice Jars are a little more rustic, with pastel colors taking hold of this region.

Italian Seasoning has a house with intricate paneling and arched windows. Old Bay, which originated in Maryland, is made of a whopping 18 spices; the pink home has dormers lining the underside of the roof. Everything Bagel has a soft mint color with hints of pastel pink and intricate florals.

You can snag the sets on Lenox’s official website—but don’t wait, because they are likely to sell out fast. “I think you guys need to make a bigger spice rack,” joked one commenter on Lenox’s Instagram post
