Drew Barrymore’s New Limited-Edition Buttercream Collection Will Instantly Brighten Your Kitchen

The era of the all-white-everything kitchen seems to be coming to an end. More and more folks these days are embracing appliances and finishes that bring a pop of color to their time in the kitchen, and a just-announced kitchenware collab is right in line with this quest for color.

Beautiful by Drew Barrymore, the kitchenware line helmed by the iconic actress and talk show host, has dropped a new collection of products in a limited-edition hue: Buttercream. The soft yellow is inspired not only by the icing on a birthday cake, but also by Pantone’s own Drew Barrymore Yellow, which was first introduced last year, on Barrymore’s 50th birthday.

About the Collection

The products range from the cutest silicone kitchen tool set and a perfectly sized loaf pan to a two-slice toaster and a must-have Belgian waffle maker. The Buttercream hue paints every item in the collection, and is destined to bring a smile to your face.

The line’s signature stand mixer, of course, comes in the stunning new hue. Perfect for baking or just as kitchen decor, this mixer is a must-have for bakers. As a whole, it is, in the words of the official press release, "a tribute to the joy we all find in baking and making special memories in the kitchen."

Time for Cake!

Because “no birthday is complete without a cake,” as the press release put it, Barrymore’s new Buttercream collection also features a limited-time Milk Bar baking mix designed to be used in the line’s fan-favorite stand mixer. 

The mix, born out of Barrymore’s friendship with chef and Milk Bar founder Christina Tosi, is preservative- and nut-free. It just needs eggs and butter to whip up a tasty shortbread. 

"Creating this mix together felt like a natural way to turn her birthday color story into something you can actually bake and share,” Tosi said in a statement. “And we’re both giddy and honored to launch this mix with Drew, marking the first of a new lineup of Milk Bar baking mixes arriving later this spring.”
