ALDI Just Restocked Its $20 West Elm Candle Dupe—and It’s a Fraction of the Price

It’s time to welcome back a tried-and-true ALDI hero: the Kirkton House Rustic Carved Wood Candle. The candle first went viral in the spring of 2025, as a budget-friendly alternative to West Elm’s $100 ceramic trough candle. While West Elm’s candle is no longer available for purchase, ALDI’s version is making a triumphant return to stores.

Rustic Carved Wood Candle

Before bringing it back, ALDI upgraded the candle. The enormous 10-wick candle now has plenty of color and aromatics.

There are two versions of the Rustic Carved Wood Candle available at ALDI right now. Each has a different finish: a dark stain and distressed white. The white trough candle smells like Dark Vanilla and Sandalwood. The dark candle has notes of Salted Orchid and Driftwood.

The wax of each candle is sprinkled with dried botanical bits. The white wooden trough candle features bright pink and peach-colored dried flower petals, while the darker candle features blue, purple, and teal aromatics. Both cozy candles are made with a soy wax blend.

A Great Deal for Bulk Candles

The Rustic Carved Wood Candle retails for just under $20. While the exact weight of this candle isn’t specified, the new trough candles are similar to past versions ALDI has released, which have been around 32 ounces. It’s likely you’ll get at least 130 hours of burn time out of the trough candle, though it could last for much longer.
