Are you a Once Human fan who wishes they could shake things up a little? Then you'll be happy to hear that  Starry Studio, developer of this post-apocalyptic survival game, has finally given players the ability to run their own official custom servers. That includes the ability to tweak its gameplay parameters, so that anyone joining the server has to play by these new private rules.

Once Human developer Starry Studio boasts that this online multiplayer game's custom servers will let you "Be your own GM". There are some limits, otherwise we'd be spawning Siren Head, sorry, 'Siren', every five seconds. But it's a welcome addition to a game that's settled down to a strong player base.

The parameters you can tweak include whether or not you allow PvP play, when resources respawn, how the weather works, and much, much more. You can also set up friend codes so that only the players you give the green light to can join your server.

In short, it sounds like a lot of fun if you're seriously into Once Human. You will, however have to rent a server from Starry Studio. But the good news is that the prices are relatively reasonable. Prices range from $5.29 for a 4-player server for 30 days, through to $289.99 for a 40-player server for six months.

On top of that, you'll have all benefits of integration with the main, non-custom game. Cosmetics and other items can be transferred back and forth. Starry Studio likely has measures in place to stop players buffing themselves up on private servers then steamrollering their way through the main game.
