The Death Stranding 2 release date has come and gone for console players, but you'll have to wait a bit longer if you're keen to play Death Stranding 2 on PC. If you held out for the previous game to arrive on Steam, you can probably guess when the sequel will drop. Death Stranding 2 PC release date

Death Stranding 2 is set to arrive on Thursday, March 19, 2026. The PC version will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was a timed PlayStation exclusive and is only playable on PS5 right now. Kojima Productions struck the same exclusivity deal with Sony for Death Stranding, which came to PC eight months after its official launch.

At the end of November 2025, Gematsu spotted a now-deleted PC rating page for Death Stranding 2 on the ESRB site. Typically, games can be rated from weeks to months before launch, so this doesn't necessarily narrow down the window. At the very least, it does indicate that the port has progressed to the point that it's nearly ready to drop.

The Asus ROG x Hideo Kojima gaming gear collaboration teaser had us all aflutter, but its announcement didn't coincide with any PC release date. However, it's impossible to overlook that the release of PC hardware is a good precursor to a Death Stranding 2 PC port. While Kojima is hard at work with Physint and OD, it seems unlikely that he'll extricate himself entirely from his strand game sequel's PC release.
