How to get ruins keys in Starsand Island

How do you get the Starsand Island ruins keys? This charming farming game is more than just plants, fishing, and romance. There's an entire magical realm to explore, but your journey through the Moonlit Forest is blocked by obstacles you can't pass until you've proven yourself ready, including a large brass gate.

Depending on how you choose to progress through this life game, you might find yourself in front of the brass gates with the left key and no idea how you got it, or how to get the right one - or even with no keys at all. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do until you progress through a specific Starsand Island profession track.

How to get the right ruins key

Zephyria gives you the right ruins key once you embark on the Intermediate Explorer questline. The questline itself then requires you to unlock the gate and explore the forest further before officially becoming an Intermediate Explorer.

You can complete the Starsand Island professions in any order and at any speed you wish, but Zephyria's Explorer questline is perhaps the most important to get to work on first. Once you unlock the gate, and fix the waterwheel, you'll be able to gather valuable materials that are otherwise unavailable.

With both Starsand Island ruins keys in your inventory, you can keep exploring. While you're here, keep an eye out for Moonlit Forest treasure maps, which can lead you to useful and valuable Flawed Chests.
