Shoppers are going absolutely crazy for the vacuum we named “Best Overall” in our testing of the best vacuum cleaners of 2025. The Shark Navigator Lift Away Deluxe, which we also ranked as “Best Upright” and “Best HEPA,” is on sale for $150, but did you know that the Deluxe has a sister? Well, she’s also on sale for $150, and her name is the Shark Navigator Lift Away Upright Vacuum.

She’s essentially the same model as the vacuum that dominated our testing in pretty much every category, save for a few deluxe features that the newer model has. And thanks to Amazon's great discounts, you can grab the anti-allergen vac for $150.

Also an Amazon best-seller with more than 85,200 five-star ratings, the vacuum is named for its unique “lift-away” functionality—an easily detachable pod that can be used to reach high surfaces, like ceilings, molding, and fans with the help of the dusting brush tool. Pop on the pet power brush for tackling smaller surface areas prone to pet hair buildup, like couches, armchairs, pet beds, and carpeted stairs. Lastly, swap in the crevice tool for corners and other hard-to-reach areas, especially spots under furniture, that usually require bending over or getting down on your hands and knees. It also features easy-to-use swivel steering that makes it swiftly maneuverable, particularly around edges and corners, even without the extra tools.

Like its younger sister, the Deluxe, this vac also has a HEPA filter that traps up to 99.9% of dust and allergens inside the tank. That makes it a standout option for pet owners dealing with built-up cat and dog dander, or family members prone to seasonal allergies or asthma. Like the Deluxe, which took the number one spot in our roundup of the best HEPA vacuums, the Lift Away vac addresses all surfaces with equal efficiency, performing as well on tile and hardwood floors as it does medium- and high-pile carpeting.

One of our only noted cons about the Deluxe was that it was on the heavier side at nearly 16 pounds, but the Lift Away model is more lightweight at 13.7 pounds. And both vacuums have comparable dust bins, too; while the Deluxe has a 0.9-quart capacity, this Shark model isn’t far behind, clocking in at 0.87 quarts.
