However, we understand there comes a time when your co-op partners aren't around to hop into a match. Does FBC Firebreak have a solo mode?

Yes, you can play FBC Firebreak solo. In our experience with the single-player mode, Firebreak's spawn count is significantly reduced to prevent a sole player from getting overwhelmed by too many enemies.

However, Firebreak's job objectives remain the same as in co-op, which means they take longer to complete than they would with three players. Since you're restricted to a single kit, you also have less control over the environment than you would as part of a team. Ultimately, just because you can play Firebreak solo, doesn't mean you should.

From FBC Firebreak's main menu, press 'Tab' to open the Socials menu and select Create Party. This will take you back to the main menu. Return to the Socials menu and uncheck the box for public matchmaking in the bottom-right corner. You can now select Start Job Solo instead of Quick Play from the main menu.
