Just ahead of its 20th anniversary, the game that started it all is being relaunched and brings the Microsoft exclusive to PlayStation for the very first time.

Gears of War Reloaded upgrades

Gears of War Reloaded includes the original game in its entirety, including all post-launch DLC for free. In more great news, all characters and cosmetics are unlocked via progression, so there are no microtransactions in-game.

• Up to 60 FPS in Campaign, 120 in multiplayer.
• HDR compatible.
• Enhanced post-processing visual effects.

Gears of War Reloaded multiplayer

Gears of War Reloaded supports both split-screen and online play, with up to two players supported in the campaign, and a maximum of eight in multiplayer. Full crossplay is also available with support between Windows, Xbox, and PlayStation without the need for a Microsoft account. If you do use a Microsoft account, you can link your games for cross-platform play, enabling you to use your save on any supported device.
