One of the most iconic and, frankly, my favorite Counter-Strike 2 skins is coming to a new SteelSeries mouse collection. The Dragon Lore Aerox 3 Wireless mouse and QcK XXL mousepad mark the first time this CS2 skin has been reproduced on PC gaming peripherals, and they're a must-have for any CS2 fan.

While it doesn't feature on our best gaming mouse list, the Steelseries Aerox 3 Wireless is still a top tier mouse that's ideal for CS2 thanks to its lightweight build, long-lasting battery life, and durable switches rated for 80 million clicks (that's a lot of missed AWP shots).

For those unfamiliar with this AWP weapon skin, it features a dragon whose tail starts on the stock, making its way up past the trigger and ammo clip, where the head of the dragon breathes a red and golden flame toward the barrel of the rifle.

An image of the Aerox 3 Wireless and QcK XXL with the Dragon Lore design while an AWP with the skin sits above them.

The Dragon Lore skin was designed by Brian "Chippy" Dugan, a Scottish artist who also wouild provide artwork for Magic: The Gathering cards and even for cards in Blizzard's Hearthstone. It's believed he still works at Valve, although this is unconfirmed.

This stunning design will now be immortalized on the Steelseries Aerox 3 Wireless mouse and QcK XXL mousepad, making for an ideal new setup for CS2 enthusiasts.

Both products are available to pre-order right now and will officially launch on July 1, 2025. The Aerox 3 Wireless Dragon Lore edition mouse costs $149.99 / £119.99, while the QcK XLL Dragon Lore edition mousepad costs $49.99 / £39.99.

The Dragon Lore skin is rare because it was only obtainable via specific missions in-game, with the drop rate suspected to be as low as 0.5%. The alternative was to open a souvenir case that the weapon was in, but these cases can cost upwards of $50, and again, the chances that you get one are low. Right now, on a CS skins site, you can purchase a souvenir version of the weapon for as much as $43,165.86.

For a closer look at some of Steelseries' previous collaborations, check out the Destiny 2 Final Shape and Call of Duty Zombies ranges, which also included headsets, controller grips, and even keycaps.

Meanwhile, if you want to learn more about what we think of SteelSeries' mousepads, check out our SteelSeries QcK review and SteelSeries QcK Performance review. Both feature on our best gaming mousepad guide, with the former being our top choice overall, thanks to its bargain price.
