Arknights Endfield tier list - best characters in 1.0
Arknights Endfield tier list - best characters in 1.0
Who are the best Arknights Endfield characters? You certainly have your work cut out for you on Talos-II. Expanding your AIC network is fraught with peril, with different devious factions all doing their best to make life difficult. Needless to say, you're going to need to bring in the big guns.
At launch, Arknights Endfield features 23 different operators, each bringing something unique to the table. Of course, as with all gacha games, some operators are superior to others. Below, we've put together our Arknights Endfield tier list based on our in-game experience, giving you a rundown of who you should prioritize pulling for on the Arknights Endfield banners. While the majority of top picks are six-star powerhouses, there are plenty of great five and even four-star options that shine in certain teams.
Here is the Arknights Endfield tier list for 1.0:
| Tier | Operator |
| S | Laevatain, Gilberta, Ardelia, Yvonne, Last Rite |
| A | Ember, Pogranichhnik, Endministrator, Perlica, Akekuri, Antal, Avywenna, Da Pan, Snowshine |
| B | Lifeng, Arclight, Chen Qianyu, Wulfgard, Xaihi |
| C | Alesh, Fluorite |
| D | Catcher, Estella |
Best Arknights Endfield characters
Here are the best Arknights Endfield characters, based on our tier list:

Laevatain
The first featured operator on the Limited banner, Laevatain, can do it all. She's categorically the best AoE DPS in the game, and can even dish out solid single-target damage. What's more, her attributes grant her attack resistance and base health, while one of her talents lets her restore health over time once she drops below 40% HP, giving her plenty of uptime on the field. Though you'll need to manage Laevatain's Melting Flame stacks efficiently to maximize her output, it's a simple enough mechanic to play around. Check out our Laevatain build to get the most out of this powerful Heat operator.

Gilberta
If you've ever played Genshin Impact, you'll know just how potent Kazuha can be when it comes to AoE crowd control. Gilberta is Endfield's equivalent, and she's just as powerful. On top of her CC, Gilberta can also reduce enemy defenses while enabling powerful Arts reactions. Support characters typically scale best from version to version in gacha RPGs, and we expect Gilberta to be a meta mainstay for a long time.

Ardelia
Healers are typically gold dust in gacha games, and Ardelia is no exception. At launch, there are only a few of them kicking about, and Ardelia is easily the most consistent and flexible medic of the bunch. Not only can Ardelia apply Corrosion, but she can also consume the effect to apply Physical and Arts susceptibility, amping any team's damage.
If you're playing at launch, you can get a free copy of Ardelia. This is a massive boon that will make clearing endgame content much easier.

Yvonne
Whereas Laevatain is at her best when mowing down groups of enemies, Yvonne is the strongest single-target DPS out there; the pair are quite literally fire and ice in terms of speciality and element. This makes her the perfect boss killer, even if you pop her in the sub-DPS slot next to fellow Cryo damage dealer Last Rite.

Last Rite
Last Rite is the best free-to-play DPS in the game in 1.0, providing a potentially more accessible alternative to Yvonne in Cryo teams (though the pair synergize very well together). Last Rite's at her best in mono-element setups, as her combo skill requires stacking Cryo affliction to proc. This does limit her compositional variety, but if you pull her on the Standard or Beginner banners, then save for Yvonne while throwing in Xaihi, you'll be more than set for the foreseeable future.
And that's our Arknights Endfield tier list, as well as a rundown of the best characters you can pull for right now. While these operators are great in isolation, you'll want to make use of our best Arknights Endfield teams guide to get the most out of them.
