This 2-Story Tiny House Is More Like a Mini Mansion Than a Cottage—Check Out Its 3 Bedrooms and Covered Porch

In a society full of cookie cutter McMansions, scrolling through customizable tiny houses on Amazon is one of my favorite forms of escapism. While I don’t think I could ever do it myself, I love fantasizing about what it would be like to downsize to these bite-size homes. 

The latest Amazon tiny house on my radar is the two-story Allwood Eagle Vista Cabin Kit, which isn’t as tiny as the typical homes we’ve seen. With 697 square feet on the ground floor and another 679 square feet on the second floor, this Amazon tiny home is basically the mansions of tiny homes.

And what you do with the space is completely up to you, as it’s a fully customizable design. This standard blueprint shows three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large living space. It also features a ground-level outdoor porch that is partially covered—it can even wrap around one side of the house if you prefer.

Made of Spruce wood, this tiny house can withstand wind speeds of up to 120 miles per hour, while the sloped roof has a snow load capacity of 46 pounds per square foot. So, not only is it a spacious, adorable cottage, but it’s also surprisingly practical and durable, too.
