Arknights Endfield Fluorite character guide
Arknights Endfield Fluorite character guide
How do you play Fluorite in Arknights Endfield? Arknights fans could be forgiven for thinking that Fluorite is Gavial from the original mobile game, but despite appearances, they're very different on the battlefield. As a four-star operator, Fluorite will likely be one of the first units you pull from Endfield's banners, and getting to grips with her kit will help get the most out of her in team comps.
Fluorite doesn't rank the highest on our Arknights Endfield tier list, but don't discount her. This Handcannon-wielding Caster thrives as an off-field support, applying and triggering elemental reactions from a safe distance. She's particularly effective when placed alongside Last Rite or Yvonne, two of the best characters you can pull from Arknights Endfield banners. Here's how to make the most of this explosive reptilian's abilities.

Fluorite abilities and attributes
Main attribute: Agility
Secondary attribute: Intellect
Fluorite's main and secondary attributes bolster her Physical and Arts Resistance, letting her soak up damage whenever she's on the field.
Basic Attack: Signature Gun Kata
Fluorite's basic attack is a four-string sequence of ranged fire from her Handcannon that deals Nature damage. The Final Strike deals Stagger damage. When Fluorite performs a basic attack near staggered enemies, it converts to a finisher that deals massive Nature damage and recovers SP.
Battle Skill: Tiny Surprise
Fluorite's skill has her summon an Improvised Explosive that attaches to a target enemy, inflicting Slow for a short duration before it explodes. This explosion deals Nature damage and Nature Infliction to all enemies in the vicinity. Only one Improvised Explosive can remain on the field at a time. Defeat the enemy to trigger the explosion. SP Cost: 100.

Combo Skill: Free Giveaway
Fluorite's combo skill triggers whenever an enemy has two or more stacks of Cryo or Nature Infliction. Fluorite shoots the target, triggering an explosion that deals Nature damage and applies another Arts Infliction of the same element that triggered it. Cooldown: 40 seconds.
Ultimate: Apex Prankster
Fluorite deals four rounds of Nature damage in a wide arc. This also detonates any Improvised Explosives attached to her target, and the explosion deals more damage over a wider area of effect. If the final attack in the sequence hits a target with at least two stacks of Cryo or Nature Infliction, it applies another Arts Infliction of that element. Energy Cost: 100. Cooldown: 10 seconds.
Talent: Love the Stab and Twist
Fluorite deals more damage against Slowed enemies.
Talent: Unpredictable
Fluorite receives a percentage chance of Arts damage immunity, which in turn gives her a temporary attack boost when it triggers. This effect does not stack.

How to play Fluorite
Fluorite's attributes might lead you to suspect that she's best placed as an on-field unit. While she can certainly manage in this position, it's not her optimal position. Instead, her lackluster basic attack makes her best suited as an off-field support.
Fluorite's not so much an elemental applicator as she is an amplifier, and the bulk of her value comes from her combo skill. Her battle skill applies Nature Infliction to a vast swathe of enemies in a single AoE, whereas her combo and ultimate add additional stacks to single targets. Given the cooldown time and requirements attached to her combo skill, we recommend activating it as soon as it becomes available.
Whether it's a battle skill, combo skill, or ultimate, Fluorite's AoE explosions demand positional awareness for optimal application. Gilberta offers natural synergy in this regard thanks to her gravity well, corralling mobs into the area of effect of Fluorite's explosives. In contrast, the Slow debuffs built into Fluorite's kit make her an excellent crowd controller for boss encounters. The slower the enemies, the harder she hits, but she can only slow enemies one at a time.

Fluorite sits comfortably in a dual-element team of Nature and Cryo, but this also affects her rotation. Ideally, you want to apply Cryo Infliction and Nature Infliction to trigger Corrosion and shred resistance, then follow it up with a dual application of Nature Infliction for enhanced burst damage. Achieving this demands deceptively careful rotation management to avoid constant Nature burst damage with no Corrosion to bolster the damage output.
You can also use the AoE effects of her combo skill to trigger Solidification and freeze whole mobs of enemies, provided you've got a good Cryo applicator on your team. This is where her synergy with Yvonne and Xaihi comes into play. Xaihi, in particular, offers a Cryo and Nature Amp boost via her ultimate. However, Fluorite's own ultimate is also a huge boon for Last Rite, helping her reach the Cryo stacks necessary to trigger her powerful combo skill.
