InZOI tattoos - Give your Zoi tattoos and piercings

How do you get tattoos in InZOI? There are many reasons to give InZOI a try, like its realistic setting and powerful karma values and consequences, but its character creator is certainly one of the most appealing draws. Offering an almost limitless options thanks to AI custom creation system and an incredibly detailed tools for tweaking facial features, Create-A-Zoi promises a complex playground to flex your creative muscles.

However, when you get into it, some character customization options are quite limited in the early access version of the life game. More specifically, when it comes to the accessory options in InZOI, your options are extremely limited. You can get InZOI tattoos and piercings, though, and here's how.

Are there tattoos in InZOI?

Currently, tattoos are labeled as 'Face Paint' in the InZOI Create-a-ZOI tool. Some options are more obvious face paint designs, while others, mostly neck tattoos, pass as ink.

The downside is that you can't customize anything about these face paint looks except their color. You're restricted both by the artwork available and their position on your Zoi's body. In early access, there's no way to use the AI tool to design or import your own tattoos.

During a developer AMA in the official InZOI Discord on February 28, 2025, the devs confirmed that only face and neck tattoos would be available during early access, and full-body InZOI tattoos would be coming "around August time".

This fits perfectly with the InZOI roadmap that was later revealed, confirming "Create-a-Zoi improvements" among other changes. The AMA, which was later recapped on the official InZOI website, also confirms that the AI tool will be available for tattoos, but likely not in August, coming "later".

InZOI piercings

Much like Create-A-Zoi face paint, there are limited options for piercings, too. While there's a piercings section in the character creator under the accessories section, there are only five options here: four nose piercings and one lip piercing. With any luck, we'll get more additions to this section in August.
