Megadeth and Half Sumo Launch 'Killing is My Business...' Fightwear Line

In one of the more unique collaborations you'll see this year, thrash metal legends Megadeth are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album, Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good!, by launching a new fightwear and streetwear collection with Brooklyn-based brand Half Sumo.

This isn't just slapping a logo on a t-shirt. This partnership is deeply authentic, driven by frontman Dave Mustaine's lifelong dedication to martial arts. Mustaine holds black belts in Taekwondo and Ukidokan Karate, and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, making the crossover from metal to the mat a natural one.

The Megadeth x Half Sumo capsule collection reimagines the album's iconic mascot, Vic Rattlehead, through the lens of samurai lore and urban combat. The collection features a full range of premium apparel, from streetwear to high-performance gear built for the dojo.

The collection will be released in four limited, hand-numbered waves throughout the summer, with no restocks planned.

• WAVE 1: THE STREETS (Available Now): The first drop includes premium streetwear like the "Katana Vic" Tee, the "Rattlehead Ronin" Hoodie, and "Mechanix" Tech Joggers.
• WAVE 2: THE MATS (July 2025): This wave delivers high-performance fightwear, including a fully sublimated "Rattlehead" Nogi rashguard and shorts set designed for MMA and Jiu-Jitsu training.
• WAVE 3: THE DOJO (August 2025): The centerpiece of the collection arrives with the "Chosen Ones" Custom Kimono, a master-crafted pearl weave gi featuring intricate embroidery and a custom-printed interior.
• WAVE 4: THE ARSENAL (September 2025): The final drop includes a satin-lined "Looking Down the Cross" Bomber Jacket and a Vic Rattlehead Tactical Backpack, both constructed from the same durable kimono fabric.
