What was 2025's best rock album? You've been helping the folks at Loudwire Nights decide picking out Three Days Grace's Alienation and Deftones' private music to advance to a final battle for the title. Now let's settle that debate once and for all.
It was a big year for Three Days Grace, who saw the return of former vocalist Adam Gontier to pair alongside current vocalist Matt Walst on their eight studio album Alienation. The album continued the band's streak of hit, chart-topping singles, already yielding "Mayday," "Apologies" and "Kill Me Fast" in 2025 with more potential singles likely following in 2026.
Meanwhile, it seems that Deftones' popularity just continues to increase with the band certainly enjoying a moment in 2025 with their private music album. The group has already hit with "my mind is a mountain," "milk of the madonna," "infinite source" and things look to continue with "Cut Hands" and more as the calendar turns to 2026.
As with all Chuck's Fight Club battles, Loudwire Nights host Chuck Armstrong will introduce the matchup in the 8PM hour of Monday's show. Individual arguments will be made for both albums on Tuesday and Wednesday while you continue to rank each. On Friday, the votes will be tallied and the higher ranked record will be featured in a Loudwire Nights rock block during the 8PM hour.
