GTA Online mansions update release time and all new cars
When is the GTA mansions update release time? The big new GTA Online update, 'A Safehouse in the Hills' release date, is on the horizon, and it's bringing a bunch of new cars for you to stuff into a new fancy garage. But when can you expect to spot these in the dealership? And what else does the mansions update have, both figuratively and literally, in store for players of all walks of life? Let's find out.
Including the long-awaited ability to make your own missions for your friends and frenemies in your lobby, it's one of the biggest GTA Online updates in quite some time. And given we're still a ways from dumping Los Santos in favor of a grand Vice City homecoming, it should keep wanton criminals and exhausted cops busy for a while.
GTA Online A Safehouse in the Hills update release time
The GTA Online mansions update release time is set for Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 9AM GMT, 1AM PDT, and 4AM EST.
Dubbed a 'monumental' update for reasons we'll dig into shortly, the long and short of it is this - expect a big download once it's time to rev those engines.

"For those who have reached the highest rungs of the criminal ladder, celebrate your triumph with a painstakingly crafted palace in one of Los Santos' most exclusive neighborhoods, complete with breathtaking views, the finest amenities, and countless ways to customize and make it your own. Plus, stop the development of a mass surveillance network in an all-new action-packed adventure - along with exquisite new vehicles to collect, the return of a familiar face, and much more." That's the official primer for what's coming up.
One of the biggest features of the latest GTA Online update is the arrival of some prime new real estate. Available from Prix Luxury Real Estate as soon as the update drops, a new mansion with "spawling outdoor spaces" and "meticulously designed interiors" could be your new base of operations. Oh, and it even includes a "state-of-the-art AI Assistant to aid with professional and personal tasks that maximise your potential." Can it put out a hit on your foes, or is it just there to magically launder money in new and mysterious ways? Pay the fee and find out.
The fancy new homes on offer through Prix feature trophy cabinets, kennels, a salon to keep your look fresh, and - because no GTA Online home worth its salt would be without one - an artfully lit garage, a car podium to show off your best rides (like the new Vapid FMJ MK V supercar available through GTA), and an armory/vehicle workshop to iron out those dents and scrub those seriel numbers. Speaking of which, GTA Online members should remember to claim the Ens Paragon S from the Vinewood Car Club before it's replaced with the new month's ride.
Oh, and that AI assistant? Turns out it offers production boosts to "expand your bottom line." That's on top of private security to protect said assets, too. That's probably unrelated to the AI companion, but you never know.
Other new features include "a slate of new top-of-the-line vehicles" like those compatible with Hao's Special Works, expanded support for the Missile Lock-On Jammer (including aircraft of the casual cruising variety), and new law enforcement vehicles for the spoilsports of the lobby.
Short on dough to pony up for that new mansion? Not to worry. The 'A Safehouse in the Hills' update to GTA Online adds new missions for those still low on the pecking order. There's also (finally) a Mission Creator mode that lets you craft your own nefarious hoodlum scenarios.
