Trader Joe’s knows how to do the holidays right. If you visit the store this month, you’ll find plenty of potted holiday poinsettias, plus fun seasonal treats to enjoy throughout the winter. And if you're a regular, you know that the store's greenery department is one of the best. Everything from fresh winter peonies to potted fall mums showed up on its shelves this fall, and now that the holidays are just around the corner, Trader Joe’s has given its floral section a massive refresh.

Trader Joe's Mini Potted Trees

You’ll find a few different options for miniature potted pines available at Trader Joe's, depending on the store you visit. We love the snow-flocked pine tree that comes in a whimsical red bucket; it's the perfect addition to a holiday tablescape or cozy fireplace mantel. The 8-inch Italian Stone Pine is a classic wintry choice—it comes with a cute double bow and matching red pot.

TJ’s Grump Trees are one of the most popular holiday decorations the retailer offers. Fans can’t get over this holiday tree that’s a total Grinch—it slumps over sideways for a quirky holiday display. Each Grump Tree is wrapped in holiday ribbon, and a sparkly holiday ornament is the cherry on top. Grab one for your own home for $10.

Winter Floral Selection

If you want to make your own winter arrangements, don’t forget to pick up some loose seasonal greenery from Trader Joe’s. The retailer has various types of pine branches, cheerful red berries, and other winter florals that are guaranteed to brighten up your home for the holidays. These pieces of greenery are great for crafting your own DIY winter wreath, adding to a vase, or hanging up as holiday swag.

Budget-Friendly Wreaths and Garlands

You can’t miss Trader Joe’s many wreaths and garlands, too, which come in a variety of different sizes and types, from faux ivy to fresh pine.

We’ve spotted small pine wreaths for $9, and full-sized fresh pinecone wreaths for $13. Some wreaths come pre-wrapped with lights to make your entryway glow. If you're lucky, you might even spot a sprig of mistletoe for sale at Trader Joe's this season.

The grocer’s 10-foot fresh cypress garland retails for just $13—use it to frame your porch, wind it around your staircase railings, or arrange it as a table runner.

The holiday greenery varies from store to store, as Trader Joe’s relies on local growers to ship fresh florals to each of its locations. So the wreaths you spot in Oregon will likely be different from the ones you’d find in Massachusetts. If you’re still busy creating your holiday moodboard, you can always call ahead and ask about the types of florals your local Trader Joe’s has in stock.
