What's the complete The Forge quests list? With new quests added with each update, it's hard to catalog every objective the game's many NPCs can toss your way. A good chunk of them will barely have anything to say at all, while the rest will send you on adventures to find lost items, horde collectables, and battle undead monstrosities for cash, EXP, and other goodies.

The Forge is a game all about mining, forging, and battling, with room to sell any excess items to reinvest into the aforementioned trio of activities. You can power through much of the early game by getting lucky with a powerful weapon or rare race. Here's a look at some of the quests available in The Forge, their assigning NPC, the objectives, and, where available, the rewards you'll get for completing them:

Quests are offered by numerous NPCs scattered around The Forge. Whether you find yourself in Stonewake's Cross or make your way over to the Forgotten Kingdom, there's a good chance you'll find a character willing to send you off on your next journey.

The Forge quests can involve mining specific ores, defeating powerful enemies, earning lots of money, or even finding lost pets and missing heirlooms, with rewards that can vary between XP, cash, rare items, and even new area unlocks.

All The Forge quest NPC locations

Here's a list of every named NPC in the game that will offer you a quest when spoken to. Some NPCs have more than one quest, making them chain quests.

Bard

Found by the campfire in the first spawn area, the Bard gives a quest to find his missing guitar.

Sensei Moro

Gives the Tutorial quest chain at the beginning of the game.

Umut the Brave

Found to the left of the main chamber in The Cave, Umut often gives quests that involve killing enemies.

Nord

Found straight-facing the exit of The Cave, Nord gives quests related to mining, keeping your eyes on the prize.

Barakkulf

Found in The Forge in the Forgotten Kingdom, Barakkulf gives quests related to mining.

Tomo the Explorist

Found on the ascent out of the first area. Gives a quest to find their missing cat.

Masked Stranger

A man dressed in dark garb, found in the Forgotten Kingdom. He gives quests that focus on beating monsters.

Goblin King

The Goblin King holds the key to the Goblin Cave biome. He also offers quests related to making money.

Where is the Lost Guitar location in The Forge?

To find Bard's guitar in The Forge, head into The Cave. Once you hit the bottom of the entrance ramp, hug the wall to the left.

Once you pass the wooden support beam and go around the cave wall, you should drop into the Secret Cave, hidden beneath the moss. You'll find a skeleton and the guitar in here. Unequip your weapon or axe, climb the ladder, and head back to Nord for your reward.
