Grab Elden Ring Nightreign and its new DLC for cheap in the co-op soulslike's first major sale

While we had to wait over two years to finally get our hands on Shadow of the Erdtree, we roguelike enthusiasts are already eating well with the launch of Elden Ring Nightreign's first major DLC. With The Forsaken Hollows now here, the spinoff of the best soulslike is better than ever, and you can celebrate by buying the entire experience so far in its first post-launch sale.

If you're out of the loop, Elden Ring Nightreign is a faster-paced, co-op-focused spin on Elden Ring. It still has that gothic horror vibe and the challenging combat loop that FromSoft fans expect, but it also feels snappier, with a focus on random runs and partnering up with pals to defeat a series of increasingly tricky foes in a relatively short window.

Despite the slow-burning yet intense adventure that Elden Ring delivers, it's quite shocking how well Nightreign works. Various classes give you a layer of replayability, alongside the changes that come with each playthrough, and the variety of familiar gear (and enemies, for those Dark Souls veterans like me), make it worth a shot. While Nat's thoughts in our Elden Ring Nightreign review weren't glowing, scoring it a 6/10, the game has improved a fair amount since then- especially for solo players like myself, with progression fixes and glitches ironed out.

The Forsaken Hollows DLC makes it a great time to dive into the world of Nightreign, giving you two more Nightfarers to play as, more bosses to fight on night three, and a new map. It's also a free expansion for anyone who currently owns the deluxe version of the game, and if you don't happen to own Nightreign, well, this is the perfect time to grab it.

Right now, you can get Elden Ring Nightreign Deluxe Edition for just $48.39 / £42.23 from Fanatical, marking the game's first post-launch sale. Alternatively, if you do own the base game already, Fanatical is offering The Forsaken Hollows for just $13.20 / £11.44, so you save on buying it from Fanatical instead of Steam, too.

Whether this is your first time as a Nightfarer or you're finally returning to Nightreign, The Forsaken Hollows welcomes you. Well, as much as something with 'Forsaken' in the name can be welcoming, in a twisted, typically FromSoftware fashion.
