Hoyoverse posted two sneak peeks on May 13 showing off the newest characters coming to the game: Skirk and Dahlia.

Skirk is a five-star sword-wielding Cryo user, but she isn't entirely new to hardcore Genshin Impact players. She was first introduced to the game in the 4.2 update, playing a role as Tartaglia's teacher, as revealed in the Fontaine Archon Quest. Skirk's kit synergizes extremely well with Escoffier, the Cryo support character from the previous update.

Dahlia is also a sword user, though unlike Skirk, he utilizes the Hydro element. As a support character, he's able to create shields while providing an attack speed buff to his party.
