Hey Arc Raiders, a free Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 could be yours, and all you need to do is say why you deserve it
Hey Arc Raiders, a free Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 could be yours, and all you need to do is say why you deserve it
Is anyone actually buying the RTX 5090? Because Nvidia can't stop giving them away. The latest in its steady stream of RTX 5090 giveaways sees the company handing out an Arc Raiders-themed RTX 5090 FE, and all you need to do to win it is tell Nvidia why you're worthy.
Ok, so there's a little more to the process of potentially winning the best graphics card in the world. Nvidia wants you to reply to an X post - or one of the similar posts on one of its other social media channels, such as Instagram - making sure to add the words "GeForce Season" in your comment and to say "why you deserve this Holiday upgrade."
We've seen Nvidia do several of these game-themed RTX 5090 giveaways in the last few months, with previous themes including Battlefield 6 and Doom: The Dark Ages. Now, though, it's the turn of the hugely popular, sometimes cooperative extraction shooter, Arc Raiders, to have the spotlight shone upon it.
The card you can win is an RTX 5090 Founders Edition, which is Nvidia's own variant of the RTX 5090, rather than one made by one of its partners, such as Asus, Gigabyte, or MSI. As we saw in our RTX 5090 review, despite packing in the world's most powerful gaming GPU with a power rating of 600W, this card is surprisingly compact compared to its predecessor. It's much smaller than an RTX 4090, as well as most RTX 5090 cards made by those other manufacturers, and is only two PCIe slots wide. So, not only could you be getting an immensely powerful graphics card, but one that should fit in most cases and look great, too.

One factor you might need to consider, if you're lucky enough to win this card, is whether you have a power supply that can deliver enough juice to this GPU. Nvidia recommends using at least a 1,000W power supply, so you may need to upgrade this component to get this $2,000 graphics card up and running.
As to the Arc Raiders theming, it consists of stickers applied to nearly all the surfaces of the card that aren't heatsink, a fan, or an IO port. It looks great - even if we do prefer the Doom: The Dark Ages RTX 5090 - and will, of course, turn its hand to any game you desire, not just Arc Raiders. You can drop your comment (and, by proxy, your entry) here.
Nvidia doesn't state a time limit for these giveaways, but you'll want to get in there quick to make sure you don't miss the window on this latest giveaway.
