Here's the cheapest way to pre-order Resident Evil Requiem
Have you rearranged your calendar and braced your nerves for the fresh nightmares that Capcom has in store for its upcoming horror game? Well, if so, we have good news: you can now pre-order Resident Evil Requiem at an 18% discount if you get it from Fanatical. For a series that's rarely cheap at launch (emotionally or financially), this is a pretty welcome treat.
Resident Evil Requiem returns the series to its core premise: putting traumatized heroes into situations that absolutely no therapist would sign off on. Capcom is still keeping the finer narrative beats in the shadows, but early previews suggest a moodier, more psychological descent than the last few entries. Think: gothic corridors, bio-organic abominations sculpted from your deepest intrusive thoughts, and of course, that "did I leave the stove on or is that the monster breathing behind me?" ambience.
Visually, Requiem seems to push the RE Engine into darker, shinier territory than ever before. Capcom's animators have clearly been drinking whatever unholy potion makes them so good at sweat rendering, because every claustrophobic close-up looks primed to haunt your dreams. Combat-wise, Capcom appears to be blending the deliberate tension of Resident Evil 2 Remake with the more flexible inventory tinkering of Village, meaning you'll probably die in beautiful, inventive ways.

If you've been following the series for years (or if you simply enjoy yelling at your monitor while sprinting down a blood-soaked hallway), Requiem is shaping up to be a strong entry in the modern RE renaissance. With the cost of living being what it is, grabbing that 18% discount, bringing the price down from $69.99 / £59.99 to $57.39 / £49.19 doesn't hurt.
The Resident Evil Requiem release date is Friday, February 27, 2026. There is no indication as to how long this deal will be available for, so if you're planning on getting the game, it is better to do it sooner rather than later because it'd be a shame to end up paying full price.
