I've been keeping track of TVs on sale during every major shopping holiday for several years now. For Black Friday 2025, I'm seeing so many cheap 65- and 75-inch QLED TVs that I'd almost always recommend grabbing a QLED TV over a regular LED TV. The one exception is Walmart's $498 deal on this massive 85-inch TCL 4K Roku TV — I've seen enough TV deals to know that you don't stumble across an 85-inch TV under $500 often, if ever.

Here's a quick refresher on the advantages of QLED: QLED TVs use the same type of LED backlight panel that LED TVs like this TCL model do, but they sandwich a layer of quantum dots between that backlight and the screen.
