Thanks to its three-camera system, it can analyze your swings to offer precise metrics that teach you more about ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, and more. It can even capture high-speed impact videos so you can immediately look back at how each shot looks, which is all visible on the sleek 10-inch color touchscreen display.
Additionally, if you're looking to create a full simulator system in your home, it can be hooked up to a projector or monitor with a HDMI cable, and then display virtual courses. You do need Garmin's Home Tee Hero to do this though, accessed via an active Garmin Golf membership, but with that you can use the Approach R50 to play virtual rounds with up to four other people on over 43,000 courses.
