Grab a Razer BlackShark V2 wireless gaming headset for just $59 in this mind-blowing Black Friday deal

If you're fast enough, you could grab the excellent Razer BlackShark V2 Hyperspeed wireless gaming headset for a truly mind-blowing price. This quality headset offers 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB connections together with great-sounding headphones and a decent mic, for a convenient, capable package that's $70 below its usual price.

The headset's bigger brother, the BlackShark V2 Pro, was for a long time our overall best gaming headset choice, right up until Razer's followup, the BlackShark V3 Pro took its crown. The BlackShark V2 Hyperspeed is a step down from that model but packs many of the core features that impressed us.

For a start, this is a really comfortable headset with a fit that's suited to a wide range of head sizes and with deep, comfortably padded earcups. It also looks really smart with its simple black or white and black color schemes.

Sound quality from its 50mm drivers is also good, with its frequency range rated to 12Hz-28,000Hz, which is far beyond the usual 20-20,000Hz of many headsets. This results in loads of sonic detail, and the headset is tuned to provide a decently powerful bass punch without sounding too forced.

What's more, Razer's software lets you fine-tune the headset's EQ, plus it includes THX Spatial Audio virtual surround sound, which is excellent for providing great directional audio in games.

With 70 hours of battery life and a convenient USB-C charging port that can also be used to connect to your PC, you should have few worries about your wireless headset ever running out of juice.

What this headset lacks compared to its more expensive sibling is a removable boom mic - this one's fixed - compatibility with Windows Sonic (for Xbox/Windows) and PlayStation Tempest 3D Audio on PS5, and it has fewer buttons. Here, you get power, mic mute, and a smart switch button, along with a volume knob.

The Pro adds audio profile switching and game/chat mix buttons. It also has slightly better audio quality and a memory foam layer in its earcup padding. But that's why it originally cost $199.99 and still costs $129.99.

Meanwhile, the BlackSHark V2 Hyperspeed started out at $129.99 and is now just $59.99, if you head to Amazon via this link. It really is an incredible amount of headset for such a low price. If you're in the market for a wireless gaming headset purely for at-home use - the fixed mic and bulk of this headset mean it's not really a travel headset - then you probably won't find a better deal than this in the Black Friday sales.
