SEVEN-LAYER BARS

Seven Layer Bars, also known as Dolly Bars, are so easy to make and absolutely delicious! Perfect for any occasion.

Seven Layer Bars

If you love easy recipes like this one, you must give our Pineapple Coconut Bars a try. They are made with only 5 ingredients and are delicious.

❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE

We love how delicious these bars are and how easy they are to make. It only takes about 10 minutes to put these together, the longest part of the process breaking up the graham crackers. Then you just layer everything, bake and enjoy! We love them cold or hot.

SWAPS

Some people don’t use the butterscotch chips so you can easily leave them out if you prefer. We think they add a great flavor. If you hate coconut you can leave it out too but it really does add to these bars. We love them with walnuts but pecans work too.

⭐TIP

Some people put parchment paper in the pan first for easy removal. I have never had an issue with these bars sticking and they come out just fine. But you can add the paper if you prefer.

Cuisine American

  • 1 1/2 sticks butter or 12 tablespoons melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 14 ounce can condensed milk (the sweetened kind, not evaporated)
  • 1 cup nuts of your choice I use walnuts, chopped
  • Pour the melted butter into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Add the graham cracker crumbs and press into the margarine to make bottom layer.

  • Add the coconut, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Drizzle the milk over the chips and sprinkle the nuts on top. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes until brown. Cool and cut into bars.

These keep well in or out of the fridge.  If refrigerated, you may need to heat each bar in the microwave for a few seconds before eating.
