How to find water in Prologue Go Wayback

How do you find water in Prologue Go Wayback? There are a fair few things that can kill you in Prologue Go Wayback, but not having a clean and continuous source of water to drink means that your run is doomed from the very beginning. Finding stuff to drink, though, can be a lot harder than it seems, especially if you get a bad spawn on the map.

While dehydration won't get you as quickly as, say, hypothermia, there is an inevitability about your thirst in the single-player game, with physical activity becoming much more difficult without something to drink. Building a fire is the best way to survive in cold conditions, but finding water to drink in Prologue Go Wayback can be a bit more involved.

To find fresh water in Prologue Go Wayback, you need to head to a river or stream. Moving water is a must, as you'll get sick if you drink from standing pools. From here, you can fill up your bottle and sate your thirst before moving on.

You can find a water bottle in your starting cabin, and it's one of the most important items at your disposal for staving off dehydration. When you pick it up, the bottle only contains 0.5L of liquid, which simply isn't enough for a long haul trek. What this does give you, though, is a means to carry water with you.

Finding a body of moving water isn't always possible, though, and in those times, you need to get creative. We found that the best way to get fresh water was to collect raindrops in our water bottle. To do this, you need to have the bottle equipped or lying on the ground when it's raining so that it will fill over time.

If you manage to find a cabin to take shelter from the rain, you can leave the bottle outside and collect it at intervals to have a drink. While you're in the cabin, it pays to have a rummage through the drawers and cupboards, as there are often bottles of soda for the taking. These will quench your thirst and throw a few calories on top, too.

Now that you know where water can be found in Prologue Go Wayback, it should be a top priority the next time you begin a run. If you can find a huge milk jug, even better, but you'll do okay with your water bottle so long as you pace yourself.
