Grab a free Steam key for Fellowship, the dungeon-diving RPG mixing the best bits of WoW and Diablo 4
I've always loved World of Warcraft. From the moment I stepped foot in Azeroth at the beginning of Mists of Pandaria, I knew that Blizzard's iconic MMO really was something special. But, as expansions have gone by and my real-life has grown ever-busier, diving into a raid after work isn't as easy a sell as it once was. Keeping up with the grind is a real struggle, one that I'm unwilling to insert myself into. That, however, is where Fellowship comes in. Distilling WoW's raiding down into bite-sized missions with shared gear, it's fast become my favorite multiplayer game of this year (look, that rhymed).
I first came across Fellowship at Gamescom, and it immediately had the same sparkle that wowed me about WoW. While you choose from a select group of heroes instead of creating your own custom character, the primary aim is to run dungeons, get loot, and do it all over again. With fast-paced combat that I'd argue is a little more reminiscent of Diablo than WoW, and a character roster that feels very Dota 2, it's basically a mashup of all of my favorite things in one place.
Chief Rebel has been hard at work implementing post-launch features, including an improved UI (which genuinely blows WoW's out of the water) and various fixes to the servers to ensure there's no nasty disconnects or time-outs. There was the recent Halloween event, too, and I suspect there may be a Christmas one on the horizon - I mean, snowy Stronghold sounds pretty good.

Despite a somewhat rocky launch, Fellowship is clawing its way back up the ranks, and with over 14k concurrent Steam players consistently logging in each evening, there's no shortage of fellows to form ships with. But if you've been holding out on picking it up, then I have good news for you.
We're giving away ten Fellowship Steam keys, and two lucky winners will also receive an additional supporter's pack on top. The code includes all three packs (Guardian, Exile, and Wanderer), which contain various armor skins and mounts (the spectral Vengeful Vermin is a personal favorite). These retail for $19.99 / £16.75 each, while the base game comes in at $25 / £20.99, so you're getting a lot of content.
You have from now until 3am PST / 6am EST / 11am GMT / 12pm CEST on Tuesday November 18 to get your entry in. Just put your details in the box below, and we'll get your code sent out as close to the closing date as we can. Or, if you're already sold on Fellowship and want your copy now, you can buy it here.

If you miss WoW as much as I do, Fellowship really is the perfect alternative. Whether I'm knocking out people as Meiko or tossing books at unsuspecting foes (and friends) as Vigour, I've loved every second of it. If you're looking for some much-needed dungeon-diving nostalgia, but with modern bells and whistles, I promise you won't leave disappointed.
