How to get Panacea Fan in Where Winds Meet - Healer class unlock guide

How do you unlock the Panacea Fan in Where Winds Meet? You don't have to commit to being a martial arts medical doctor in Where Winds Meet just to unlock this handy weapon type and the healer class. With two weapons you can switch between mid-combat, having the Panacea Fan as your secondary unlocks a great way to heal yourself in the heat of the moment. Throwing back medicinal herbs won't always cut it.

Where Winds Meet has a couple of multiplayer and co-op modes that make the healing arts of the Panacea Fan well worth picking up. Even if you're playing solo, easy access to healing skills makes it a great survival tool. You can get more unlocks for your character with the latest Where Winds Meet codes, too.

Though you can technically unlock the Panacea Fan by simply equipping any you happen to find out in the field, you won't be able to do much without learning Panacea Fan Mystic Arts like Cloudburst Healing and, bear with us here, Light Dust After Morning Rain.

You can just about heal with a tap of Emerald Dewtouch in a pinch without those skills, but you'll be a fraud of a mystical physician if you join a big online brawl with just that.

Luckily, unlocking the major mystic arts for the Panacea Fan, and the Panacea Fan itself, if you haven't found one, doesn't take long at all. Note that the Panacea Fan is the healer version of the Inkwell Fan, which itself is a ranged DPS Where Winds Meet class.

The official route to unlocking the Panacea Fan begins a little way through the main story. Someone around General's Shrine will mention several Silver Needle members wandering around the Verdant Wilds. That's your first clue.

As a matter of fact, the Silver Needle members are holed up in a cave around the Bamboo Grove area of the Verdant Wilds.

This isn't far from the Bamboo Retreat where you first agreed to take Ruby to General's Shrine. Tread that path again, this time hopping off to the south between the large bend and the lake. Rummage around the cliffs a little and you should spot camps teeming with baddies. Nestled within those rocks is a plinth. Slot a Dragon Key in, and the door to a cave will open.

Walk through its tunnels long enough and you'll enter a clearing. At this point, you'll automatically turn invisible. To a degree, anyway. No, we're not sure how or when our character learned to do this, either.

From now on, you're playing a stealth game. It tells you to use Touch of Death to quietly fight your way through without bing detected, but you can snake around the NPCs to reach the Panacea Fan, too. Note that while some NPCs patrol the area, meaning you can wait for them to get out of your way, a few barely budge an inch. That's true for the one hiding behind the column just to your right as you start tip-toeing through the area.

Now, while the cave may look massive with many doorways, you're only two rooms away from unlocking the Panacea Fan and its Mystical Arts. From the start, wait for the patrolling officer to move to the right, then take a left and head forward for the ramp, hugging the left wall to avoid the sneaky pillar camper and the guy walking to and from the ramp.

When you're able, head up the ramp and hide behind the barrels until the duo patrolling the pathway are walking the long road to the right. Sneak by and head into the immediate opening on your left for a checkpoint. You'll respawn here if you fail from now on. Easy.

In this next room, you can head up towards the rubble to take out the soldier on the high ground. That's if you're doing the Touch of Death route. If not, head down the ramp to the bottom floor and sneak your way over to the ladder in the opposite corner. Climb this, head up the ramp on your right, and you're there.

Stand in the circle and click the prompt to start learning the Panacea Fan moves through Skill Theft. This involves clicking when the green circles appear and holding fire when the gray circles appear. The greens can form a quick sequence, so don't take your guard down after nailing one green circle.

With that, you'll unlock the Panacea Fan and its two signature moves. From this point on, you should be able to select the Panacea Fan through either of the two Martial Arts slots on the Develop/Abilities page.
