Where Winds Meet map - all regions and locations

What regions are on the Where Winds Meet map? While this will do little to point you in the right direction if you're lost on your travels, the WWM map is a great way to convey to other potential martial arts masters just how much there is to see and do in the free-to-play online action adventure game. If dozens of key locations and an expanding world are what your gaming group usually latches onto, this could be the ticket to exploring Where Winds Meet with friends.

The Where Winds Meet map below splits key locations into its two main regions, which are then further split across six subdivisions or prefectures. This map can at least point you in the right direction if a character is requesting your presence somewhere you've yet to visit. With unlocks like the Panacea Fan being found in a specific area, a handy list of map locations can come in clutch. And if multiplayer is your aim, here's how to unlock co-op in Where Winds Meet, too.

At launch, Where Winds Meet is made up of two large-scale regions: the northern stretch of Qinghe and the southern land of Kaifeng and Kaifeng City.

Like most living open-world games these days, the playspace of Where Winds Meet is set to expand over time, with the world map growing to contain more regions with new quests, chests, and unlocks. Here's a look at the two major launch regions and the key locations that breathe life into this rendition of 10th-century China.

Qinghe

Made up of the Verdant Wilds to the east, Sundara Land to the north, and Moonveil Mountains to the west, the region of Qinghe is the home of your ancient hero.

As the sun sets over the cloud-covered pagoda, end the day on a high with the many joys to be had around the Fairgrounds area. Hard work can be found around the towering Furnace Area, and you can take in the darker side of town by hitting up the Ghostlight Market and Unbound Cavern.

The marsh of Mistveil Forest and the rolling hills of Plainfield perfectly punctuate the hard-working attitude that goes into keeping the Ever-Normal Granary powering the whole region. Gracetown is a sign of better things to come, but with the humble Stillheart Grove flanked by the Abandoned Mercy Hall and Desperation Ridge, the Granary of Plenty region of Kaifeng has certainly seen better days.
