Bring Timeless Charm to Your Home with the Brownstone Boys' Vintage Wallpaper Collection

If you’re drawn to the 'vintage meets modern day' style, Jordan Slocum and Barry Bordelon—the social media renovation duo known as the Brownstone Boys—are the experts to watch. Known for breathing new life into vintage brownstones, the duo partnered with WallPops to launch a collection of peel-and-stick wallpapers inspired by New York City’s rich architectural and design history.

The new collection includes 11 designs across 5 distinctive patterns, each one telling a visual story of urban life, personal nostalgia, and timeless elegance. The duo shared that the line as a whole was inspired by, “all of the beautiful homes we get to restore and of course, the city that surrounds us and inspires us every single day.”

A Love Letter to New York: Toile and Delft

From the beginning, Jordan and Barry knew a toile print was a must. Already a favorite in their client home transformations, their Toile de New York offers a fresh take on a classic pattern. This hand-drawn pattern comes in three shades—a grey-hued graphite, a rusty brick shade, and classic navy. Capturing beloved city landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Domino Sugar sign, they were sure to incorporate sentimental pieces, like their favorite bodega cups. “It’s a love letter to our favorite place,” they shared.

Brooklyn Delft, another standout, pays homage to traditional Delft tiles with an unmistakably New York twist—think brownstone stoops, pigeons, and the Washington Square Arch.

A personal favorite of Barry's, the Toile de New York and Brooklyn Delft Tile are the perfect wallpaper to bring life into your home’s smaller spaces like bathrooms and entryways. Their styling tips? For a larger room, Barry suggests adding wainscoting or a beadboard to the first half of your wall and wallpaper the top half for a break in the pattern. In smaller spaces, like a mudroom, opt for drenching the space with the full pattern. “Sometimes it’s nice to let the pattern do its thing” Barry says.

Bold Florals and Subtle Stripes

For a delicate-yet-structured feel, Brownstone Blooms offers a modern take on damask. Inspired by a 19th-century print uncovered in some of their renovation projects, it blends architectural forms with soft floral motifs. “This one bridges centuries of historic beauty,” Jordan says. Offered in four different hues, this pattern can lend to a wide range of interior design styles, from Victorian to French country to organic bohemian.

Townhouse Stripe, on the other hand, introduces the most subtle option. A classic for many, this stripe pattern includes vine detailing sandwiched between vertical lines of varying thickness for a simple look with just enough intrigue and understated warmth to a space. “We incorporate stripes into so many of our projects, we had to include one in the collection,” Barry explained.
