Where Winds Meet release times - when is it coming out?
What are the Where Winds Meet release times? This F2P and sometimes online open-world martial arts game is coming in hot. And with the original mobile release seemingly benched for the time being, all eyes are on the PC release. So, when can you play Where Winds Meet? We'll be diving into the release times and burning preload questions down below.
For those just hearing about it now, Where Winds Meet is an upcoming action game from Netease. Like Black Myth Wukong, it whisks you back to ancient China to use your martial arts prowess for, hopefully, a world of good.

Where Winds Meet release times and preload details
The Where Winds Meet release time has been confirmed as Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10pm GMT, 5pm ET, and 2pm PT.
It's available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, so how you hop in is up to you. As for when you'll be able to prepare for your Wuxia journey ahead of time, Where Winds Meet preload starts on November 12 at 10pm UTC. That's exactly 48 hours before launch.
How big is the Where Winds Meet file size?
Where Winds Meet is slated to be upwards of 100GB in size. The final number depends on optional downloads like full voice acting and every playable region, which can quickly cause it to balloon in size.

What is Where Winds Meet?
The story in Where Winds Meet walks you through 10th-century China and the pivotal point of the Five Dynasties and the Ten Kingdoms. It's an open-world adventure game with optional online co-op elements like dungeons, boss battles, raids, and PVP duels, making it close to an MMO or, at the very least, a shared-world third-person action adventure game.
In the single-player component, it plays a little like Elden Ring; in a less drab and depressing land, anyway. Not everyone wants to kill you. In fact, most of the NPCs actively require your help, like a little friendly competition, a simple shoulder to cry on, or even finding them a job.
As you travel this open world, you'll take on bandit camps, learn new skills from books, people, and even animals, and use your growing martial arts techniques to get yourself in and out of all sorts of situations befitting an up-and-coming ancient hero. It's the Wuxia way-and one that didn't gel with our own Paul Kelly in an early preview a few months back.
Once you're all settled into your new life along the dusty roads of ancient China, you might want to read up on guides like how to change your appearance. And if you need something to play ahead of release, check out the best adventure games from across the decades.
