Greek mythology ARPG Titan Quest 2 is about to permanently raise its price, but you can get it on sale first

With Path of Exile, PoE 2, and Diablo 4 clashing as the current ARPG titans, and other heavy hitters such as Last Epoch and Torchlight Infinite also on a regular schedule, it can be tough to keep up. Lately, I've been reminded that the best RPGs don't always need to be never-ending behemoths that stretch on for season after season. Whether it's The Slormancer or Hell Clock, I've got a lot of time for compact offerings where I don't feel like I'm racing against time to get everything done before the next reset. Like its iconic predecessor before it, Titan Quest 2 is the latest to fill this role in style, and you might want to jump on the train now, because the price is about to go up.

Titan Quest 2 was launched into early access in August, and since then developer Grimlore Games has already unleashed the game's second chapter. It's continuing to build out features, with a roadmap stretching into 2026, and the most recent update just hit this week, bringing two inclusions I'm tremendously happy about. Keyword tooltips are an essential ARPG feature, allowing you to hover over terms to get more detailed information about how they work. These are nested to let you follow the entire chain of knowledge as far as needed, which lets you craft builds with much more confidence.

Also introduced is a character creator, a feature I've always been an advocate for that's sadly absent in some of the best games like Diablo, including Path of Exile 2. There's a huge amount of customization on offer here, and you're also able to share your creations with a simple copy-and-paste text code, with Grimlore even offering two sample designs based on classic looks from the first Titan Quest.

Grimlore had stated from launch that its plan was to increase the price of Titan Quest 2 as it expanded the early-access offering, and now it confirms that the first such instance is upon us. Fortunately, there's currently a small Steam sale, meaning you can grab the game at its lowest price before it jumps up. While some will want to wait until the full 1.0 launch before committing to a purchase, I've certainly been enjoying dipping into what's currently available, and of those who have submitted user reviews to Steam, 84% have given it the thumbs up.

"Thank you for sharing essential pointers and insights to maneuver us in the right direction within the ARPG landscape. Furthermore, we want to inform you that we will perform a price adjustment of Titan Quest 2 to reflect the currently available content."

Titan Quest 2 is available at a 10% discount on Steam until Monday November 10, meaning you'll pay $26.99 / £22.49. From Tuesday November 11, the base price will be permanently increased from $29.99 to $34.99 (or regional equivalents) on all platforms.
