How do you complete Pinching The Pupa in The Outer Worlds 2? Across the game's many planets, you'll meet various people who need your help. Giving them a hand will improve your standing with the different factions and give you a financial reward. In Golden Ridge, one side quest asks you to pick a side in an argument and find a Pupa for the side you pick.

In this The Outer Worlds 2 quest, you'll meet Trooper Wentworth and Biological Designer Bradford. They'll argue amongst themselves, and you'll need to decide who to help. You'll need to boost particular Outer Worlds 2 skills to complete the objectives you're given, but it's actually one of the more straightforward The Outer Worlds 2 quests to complete on the second planet.

The first thing you need to do is head to the north end of Golden Ridge, where you'll find Fort Endurance. Head inside and you'll find Trooper Wentworth and Biological Designer Bradford in the main courtyard.

You can speak to either of them to start the conversation, but you may need to exhaust most of the dialogue options before the arguing begins.

Eventually, the two leaders will argue to the point that you're asked to go and get a Mantisaur Pupa from a nearby Mantisaur nest.

How to get Mantisaur Pupa

Head out of the Fort and head southeast from your position. You'll reach a large cave area, guarded by lots of Zyranium Mantiwasps and Zyranium Mantisaurs.

Fight them and head to the back of the cave, and you'll spot a Mantisaur Pupa on the floor in some green goo. Now, all you need to do is take it back to Wentworth and Bradford at the fort.

Who to give the Mantisaur Pupa to

Who you give the Pupa to is up to you; giving it to Bradford gives +3 Auntie's Choice reputation, while giving it to Wentworth gives +1 Auntie's Choice reputation. Therefore, Bradford is probably the better option.

If you tell her to in the initial conversation, you'll also match the financial reward Wentworth was going to give you, granting you 1500 bits at the conclusion of the quest.

You can now head back out into Golden Ridge to try your hand at the next tricky quest in the game.
