If you like your screens big, and your colors bright, then here's an awesome opportunity to grab yourself a colossal 43-inch Samsung gaming monitor for a bargain price, complete with a mini LED backlight. That means you not only get to fill your peripheral vision with a massive wall of gaming goodness, but that you also get decent HDR reproduction – great for movies and cinematic games. Best of all, Samsung is offering a big saving of $430 on the usual price, bringing this $999.99 monitor down to just $569.99.

That makes it one of the best gaming monitor deals we've seen for such a large HDR screen. With a large array of tiny LEDs behind the panel, this Samsung monitor can adjust the backlight brightness at a granular level, resulting in much better HDR performance than a standard edge-lit display, with bright and vibrant colors.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 4K, to use its full name, has VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, which means this monitor offers higher contrast and a brighter image than most gaming monitors, which only meet the DisplayHDR400 standard. Samsung claims the Odyssey Neo G7 4K has a static contrast ratio of 4,250:1, for example, along with a typical brightness of 400 cd/m², although that DisplayHDR 600 certification means this screen can momentarily peak at 600 cd/m² – either way, this monitor will help bring your games and movies to life.

Meanwhile, the 4K resolution is ideal for this massive screen size, and it refreshes at 144Hz too. That makes it ideal for use as both a smart TV for watching 4K movies, as well as a high-res gaming monitor, particularly with that 43-inch screen. You even get a remote control for using it as a TV, complete with buttons for Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Handily, speakers are also integrated into the screen if you want to use it as a TV as well.

You can get 4K monitors with faster refresh rates, of course, but 144Hz is still plenty fast enough for most gamers' needs. This screen also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, meaning it will synchronize its refresh rate with the gaming frame rate from your GPU, so you don't get any annoying tearing artifacts on the screen. We've often found that you can also get Nvidia G-Sync working on these screens with adaptive refresh rates too, but there's no official certification so there's no guarantee here.

There's a decent array of connections as well, with one DisplayPort input for your PC and a pair of HDMI ports for a console and another device, perhaps a games console and an Ultra HD Blu-ray player.

Best of all, though, is the price of $569.99, which is outstanding for a massive 43-inch 4K monitor with a mini LED backlight. To take advantage of this deal, you just need to click on this link here to take you to the Samsung store.
