Where to find prickly pear in Arc Raiders

Where can you find prickly pears in Arc Raiders? Scrappy is a discerning rooster, which we'll allow since he's funded more than a few trips topside with his resource-gathering ability. To train Scrappy, you need to collect a bunch of different items, some of which make sense, and some that are a bit more left field.

Finding Arc Raiders lemons and apricots, for instance, can be a nightmare for those just beginning their Arc Raiders career - getting to grips with not getting shot in the head is difficult enough, even with our Arc Raiders builds, without worrying about finding fruit. Alas, Scrappy wants prickly pear, so Scrappy gets prickly pear.

Arc Raiders prickly pear locations

As with many of the flora-based items in Arc Raiders, prickly pear can technically be found anywhere on the Arc Raiders map with the 'Nature' symbol. It spawns near cactus plants (it being the fruit of said cactus), so if you see a group of these spiked plants on your travels, best have a look around.

We found that the arid landscape of Buried City gave us the most opportunity to search for prickly pear, with the most reliable route being along the southern edge of the map, outside of the city itself. Bear in mind that pricky pear doesn't always spawn, so don't get too disheartened if you can't find one straight away.

The Lush Blooms event, as you may know, after searching for Arc Raiders olives, gives you the best opportunity to find all manner of fruits and vegetables. Not only does this event up the spawn rate of prickly pear, but you can also find fruit baskets around, filled to the brim with produce.

With your Arc Raiders prickly pear in hand, you'll be able to train Scrappy with no issues, and can turn your attention to much more pressing matters. Make sure you know where to get your hands on Arc Raiders mechanical components so you can upgrade the rest of your gear, along with the rooster, and as always, keep an Arc Raiders Hatch Key on you at all times, so you can make a quick escape with your fruit.
