Nvidia just made it easy to set up Nightreign and GTA 5 properly on your GPU

A new update just dropped for the Nvidia App, which adds optimal game settings for a ton of popular titles, including Elden Ring Nightreign and GTA 5 enhanced, while also fixing a crucial frame generation bug, and perhaps most importantly, adding a light mode.

If you own an Nvidia RTX 5070, you'll also notice that the in-game overlay is now accessible again, while many of the best graphics cards should be able to download and install drivers without issues following this update.

This new update adds optimal game settings for the following titles:

• Elden Ring Nightreign
• Assassin's Creed Shadows
• Clair Obscur Expedition 33
• Deadlock
• Grand Theft Auto 5 Enchanced
• The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered
• The Last of Us Part II
• Split Fiction
• inZOI
• Monster Hunter Wilds
• Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
• Half Life 2 with RTX

This means you can now automatically apply the best in-game settings for your gaming PC, provided you've opened the game at least once for the app to register your current settings.

A bug has also been fixed, where forcing a game to use a different DLSS model using DLSS Override would also apply frame generation, regardless of which option was selected in the Nvidia app, or in-game. This particular bug originally impacted our testing for the best F1 25 settings, producing some very strange results when we expected frame generation to be off, yet frame rates remained super high.

Other bug fixes address several issues, including your recording bitrates being saved incorrectly, PC resets causing microphone volume boosts, and general stability issues. A new light mode is also listed under accessibility features, alongside improved Windows Narrator support.
