The NZXT H7 Flow RGB is one of our top PC case recommendations for anyone wanting to build a really stylish yet cool-running PC without spending a lot. It's a great buy at its normal price of $149.99, but currently, you can pick one up for just $119.99, making it an absolute bargain right now.
In our NZXT H7 Flow RGB review, we praised its eye-catching design, excellent cable-tidying features, easy-to-use tool-free panels, and the fact that it comes with three 120mm RGB fans included. That's why this NZXT model is the top choice for a case under $150 on our best PC case guide.
Available in white or black, the NZXT H7 Flow is a mid-size tower case, so it's not as compact as mini-ITX or microATX cases, but isn't a behemoth case either. It's also not as wide as the many dual-chamber cases that are now so common, such as the Hyte Y70 or NZXT's own H6 Flow RGB.
What stands out about the design of this case, other than its generally clean lines, is that it doesn't have the power supply mounted in the base of the case, but instead sneaks it in under and behind the motherboard. This makes it a semi-dual-chamber case, but with far less of the width of full dual-chamber designs.
By moving the power supply, this opens up the entire base of the case to be filled with fans. These aren't supplied - though you could move the fans fitted by default to the front panel - but once you add in some stylish RGB fans, or a single-frame triple fan setup like NZXT's F360 RGB Core, you have an incredible-looking setup.
What's more, all those extra fans are fantastic for cooling. In our tests, the graphics card temperature we recorded was 4°C lower than in the NZXT H6 Flow even without extra fans in the base, and adding in more fans dropped this temperature by another 3°C.
